Sunset Hike – Temple Hill
Sunset Hike – Temple Hill, Galtee Mountains
A guided evening hike to Temple Hill in the Galtee Mountains, timed to reach the high ground around sunset.
We’ll begin in daylight, climb towards Temple Hill and, weather permitting, enjoy the evening light and sunset before making our way back down as daylight fades.
This is a moderate mountain hike and suitable clothing, footwear and equipment are required.
You will need:
• Hiking boots with ankle support
• Comfortable outdoor clothing in layers
• Warm jacket or fleece
• Hat and gloves
• Waterproof jacket and waterproof trousers
• Head torch with spare batteries
• Water and food/snacks
• A flask with a hot drink is recommended
It is also useful to have a dry change of clothes in the car.
Gaiters and walking poles are optional.
If you need to cancel more than 24 hours before the hike, you can choose either:
• a 90% refund, or
• one free transfer to another guided hike.
A transfer must be requested at least 24 hours before the hike and can be used once only.
If you do not take up a transferred place, the original booking fee is forfeited.
Cancellations within 24 hours of the hike are non-refundable and cannot be transferred.
If Beyond the Glass Adventure Tours cancels the hike, you can choose a full refund or move your booking to another suitable date.
