Knockmealdown Guided Hike
A guided hike to Knockmealdown Mountain in the Knockmealdown Mountains.
Starting from Bay Lough, we’ll make our way onto the open mountain and climb towards Knockmealdown, with wide views across the surrounding countryside when conditions allow.
This is a moderate mountain hike with sustained uphill walking and varied mountain terrain. A good base level of fitness is required.
Approximate duration: 5 hours.
• Hiking boots
• Comfortable outdoor clothing in layers
• Warm jacket or fleece
• Waterproof jacket and trousers
• Water
• Food and snacks
• Small rucksack
A hat and gloves may be useful in cooler conditions.
Gaiters and walking poles are optional.
If you need to cancel more than 24 hours before the hike, you can choose either:
• a 90% refund, or
• one free transfer to another guided hike.
A transfer must be requested at least 24 hours before the hike and can be used once only.
If you do not take up a transferred place, the original booking fee is forfeited.
Cancellations within 24 hours of the hike are non-refundable and cannot be transferred.
If Beyond the Glass Adventure Tours cancels the hike, you can choose a full refund or move your booking to another suitable date.
